Bryony & Jay | A True Stony Stratford Wedding

"I found you. And you found me." A true Stony Stratford wedding -

A groom dip-kisses his bride in front of a church doorway. Her cathedral length veil is blowing in the wind. She is holding a dried flower bouquet.

In the heart of Stony Stratford, Bryony and Jay were married on a gloriously sunny day in April.

Their day began with a ceremony in the charming St Mary & St Giles Church; which was filled with friends and family that had travelled from all corners of the country to watch them begin married life together.

Not just a celebration; their wedding day was a testament to their unique love story.

Crafted with care and creativity, with nods to the musical way in which they met; and topped of with just a touch of Peaky Blinders-inspired flair.

Jay and his groomsmen looked dapper in their midnight blue tuxedo's, cigars in hand, and a spirit of camaraderie that echoed through the night.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with them that morning after I had I delivered the bouquets and pinned on each of their button holes as they toasted the day ahead.

A real celebration of friendship, brotherhood, and bonds.

Bridal preparations were underway and the vibe was high with Lucy Locks on hair & Chloe Eleanor on makeup.

As Bryony's six bridesmaids made their entrance, they looked radiant in elegant Victoria Lou dresses; each carrying a timeless gypsophila bouquet.

Bryony looked breath taking as she made her entrance in an elegant Maggie Sottero dress by Elaine Rawlings Bridal. She carried a bespoke dried flower bouquet, finished with silk ribbon made by Acorn & Oak Events (me!) that she and I had designed together.

Prior to the wedding I had the privilege of guiding Bryony & Jay along their journey.

From our chance encounter - late night conversations about styling elements - to the final flourish over a year later; it was my pleasure to offer support, encouragement, and a dash of creative flair along the way.

Their journey wasn't just about planning a wedding; it was about crafting an experience that was uniquely theirs. It was about infusing every detail with meaning and purpose, so that when they looked back on their special day, they would see not just a celebration, but a reflection of their love story, for all the world to see.

As I look at the pictures of Bryony and Jay dancing the night away, surrounded by the ones they hold dear, I can't help but feel a sense of pride. Because their story isn't just their own—it's a testament to the power of love, the beauty of collaboration, and the transformative magic of a well-crafted wedding day.

Here's to crafting timeless love stories, one wedding at a time.

Congratulations again Bryony & Jay
